January 4 - Pray for Chelir Grady and praise God for this new chapter at Texas Southern University (TSU). Pray for wisdom for Chelir as she seeks to plant, cultivate, and water the seeds of biblical truth in students. Pray too that the Lord would give students at TSU a vision and passion for starting new chapters at nearby campuses. Also give thanks for InterVarsity staff member Brandon Hodge as he plants a LaFe chapter to minister to Latino students at Pima Community College in Tucson, AZ. Ask Jesus to encourage missional students there as they share the Gospel with their friends.
January 5 - Pray that the Lord would deepen relationships among chapter members in the Black Campus Ministries chapter at San José State University in California as they learn about God together through prayer, Bible study, and worship.
January 6 - Praise God for the InterVarsity ministry growth at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, FL, where the number of students has nearly tripled over the past year! Pray for student leaders as they implement a culture of discipleship into their chapter.
January 7 - Pray for God to move five to eight student leaders to share the truth of Jesus with international students on campuses throughout Ohio.
January 8 - Students at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI, are praying for the Holy Spirit’s guidance about attending the Ministry Across Cultures training sessions this month and in February. Ask Jesus to encourage them as they consider participating.
January 9 - Join Lauren Ansong, InterVarsity staff member at Boston University in Massachusetts, in praying that students will take ownership of the ministry on campus. Also pray for Lauren to trust in the Lord as her provider as she develops ministry partnerships.
January 10 - Pray for non-Christian students at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, to discover the character and truth of Jesus as they participate in small group Bible study.
