July 5 - Pray for the leadership transition in the Asian Christian Fellowship at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Pray that God will bring new volunteers to help InterVarsity volunteer Matti Chan lead and guide that team. Also, pray that the multiethnic chapter at New York University would develop and grow into a strong core group of missional students who will, with God’s love, welcome new students this fall. Ask God to direct and encourage them as they follow up with peers during New Student Outreach.
July 6 - The new InterVarsity International Student Ministry chapter plant at the University of Oklahoma in Norman saw incredible growth last year—from zero to 30 students. Pray that these students would continue to grow in faith.
July 7 - Pray for the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) staff and students in Nepal who are serving with relief efforts all over the country after the devastating earthquake in April. Many of the IFES students have lost their homes as well.
July 8 - Pray that small group leaders at The Juilliard School in New York City start small groups among their peers over the summer and that many of their friends make decisions to follow Jesus.
July 9 - Thank God for the Global Urban Trek. As students and staff fan out into slum communities, ask the Lord to give them discernment as they consider the possibility of serving these communities long term.
July 10 - Pray for staff member Kristen Parise as she transitions from ministry on campus to a new role as InterVarsity’s digital learning designer. Ask God to use her talents and gifts in this new role for God’s mission on campus.
July 11 - Ask God to provide spiritual support through other Christians for students from South Dakota State University in Brookings and the University of Wisconsin—Stevens Point while they are home for the summer.
