“I can look back now and see with more clarity the ways that InterVarsity has shaped my life in my adulthood. I remember diving into inductive Bible study for the first time and being blown away at such an eye-opening way to study the Word. I remember being so shocked and so terrified when I was asked to consider being an MC over our chapter's large group meetings. I felt sick every week, leaning into obedience for this way that I saw that God wanted to develop and shape me. Many years later, I am directing the women's Bible study ministry at my home church - writing curriculum, teaching in front of groups without fear, and even instructing the women I work with on the process of inductive Bible study. Everything that God did has been useful to what He's doing right now. None of it was wasted. I am so thankful for the investment that InterVarsity made into me as a person and into my leadership. They saw potential for what God could do when I didn't see much at all. I will always cherish my days with them, and I love staying connected, hearing about what God is still doing on campus, and dreaming about the ways that the students will look back also and see how God weaves everything together. ”
