Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Staff Conference 08 was truly a blessing. God’s presence was with us, focusing our mission for ministry on campus and unifying us in love for one another. My thanks to you for all your efforts and prayers.
On each of our five days together, I could see how God was shaping our understanding of ministry through inspired biblical expositions, evening plenary speakers, testimonies, one-act plays, seminars, and meetings; and I could see how God was unifying our understanding of ourselves through times of worship, prayer, conversation, and celebration.
I believe that, as a community, we come away from St. Louis with an even greater passion for our campus mission and a deeper understanding of our central purpose—inviting students and faculty to know Jesus Christ. My prayer is that we will daily offer God our particular spiritual gifts, that we will continue to proclaim the gospel, unashamed, and that God will continue to bless our efforts to advance his kingdom through our witnessing communities.
We have much to be grateful for as a Fellowship. Please join me in thanking God for all his blessings.
