Tangible Love

At the beginning of the spring semester, the Small Group Leaders at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, were challenged to think “outside the box” to show the campus the love of Jesus in tangible ways. The leaders rose to the occasion.

Several small groups went door to door in the dorms, offering to take the student’s trash to the dumpster. One group made cookies and handed them to their dorm mates. Another handed out hot chocolate on a cold morning. The adventurous Pritchard Hall Small Group even began offering rides to students outside bars on Friday and Saturday night.

These activities have led to some great discussions and a few people have even begun to attend a small group on campus.
