- (November 24, 2008) — N.T. Wright, Anglican Bishop of Durham, England, spoke at an InterVarsity mission on the Harvard University campus on the topic of “Reconstructing Hope: The Search for the Sustainable Good.” This lecture, Why Do Good in a Hopeless World? was delivered on Tuesday, November 18, 2008. The other two lectures in this series can be accessed on the website of the Harvard Graduate School Christian Fellowship. Bishop Wright is the author of numerous books, including Surprised by Hope, upon which this series is based. He will also be the plenary speaker for InterVarsity’s Following Christ 2008 conference, to be held in Chicago, December 27-31, 2008.
