Visual art and engaging the imagination is incredibly foundational to Celtic spirituality. Throughout our pilgrimage, we will use paintings made just for Via Divina: The Celtic Way to engage in a prayer practice called Visio Divina, or divine seeing.
In Visio Divina, we are simply creating space to encounter Jesus in stillness and silence and the art becomes a tool to help us do this. Our hope is for you to be able to enter the scenes of these Celtic saints and led into the eternal presence of God as they were
