Via Divina

Division. Disconnection. Disharmony.
We need another way.

Harmony Way for Lent will take place from February 14 to March 20, 2024.

Walk with Jesus through stories and scripture, in movement and prayer, as we seek God’s good road, the way of harmony. Along the journey, indigenous followers of Jesus from across North America and Hawaii (Turtle Island and Pasifika) will provide a window into God’s shalom and peace by sharing stories and wisdom from their communities.

At the heart of the experience are five audio-guided walks designed to provide a fresh encounter with God. Christ invites us to live as full human beings with all parts of ourselves (body, mind, & spirit) working wondrously together. Via Divina offers an experience to bring all parts of us before God through:

  • Movement: outside using all senses to connect with the places where we live
  • Scripture: active engagement with God’s Word
  • Stories: both contemporary and ancient that speak to our cultural moment
  • Invitation to Holy Imagination: awakening our longing for God through prayer, art, and creative spiritual practices

In addition, there will be webinars on the Harmony Way, storytelling circles, a journal, and more! Gather your own community of students, faculty, friends, and harmony-seekers to walk with us this fall.
