Ona Strikas is a PhD student at Florida State University, modeling water resources that areas will have in the future. She loves seeing God’s power, majesty, and providence through science and her research. She’s also passionate about Christian unity, and longs to see all our brothers and sisters in Christ understand one another, even if our denominations differ. Though she has moved around a lot, she is a Southern (U.S.) girl at heart, who will never turn down a warm biscuit or a cold glass of sweet tea.
InterVarsity is very good at getting college students out of their conventional Sunday-school comfort zone. It is very good at calling us to “pick up our cross daily and follow him,” and to radically love the forgotten and downtrodden that Christ cared so much for.
