25 - Students are participating in the final Chapter Focus Week at Cedar Campus. Pray that they are encouraged to be bold witnesses on campus this fall as a result of the discipleship and leadership training they receive.
26 - Pray for new students— particularly Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, and more men—to participate in New Student Outreach activities and join InterVarsity at the University of Hawai‘i and Hawai‘i Community College, both in Hilo.
27 - The InterVarsity chapter at the University of California— Irvine, was recently reestablished. Pray for boldness as students share the Gospel and invite their peers to join Bible studies and engage in the witnessing community on campus.
28 - Pray for third-year students in the Christian Medical Society at Pennsylvania State University in Hershey— in partnership with InterVarsity’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries—as they begin rotations at clinics and hospitals across the state.
29 - Eight students from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts return today from Summit, a chapter camp where students receive leadership training. Pray that they courageously share the Gospel with their peers on campus as they establish an InterVarsity chapter.
30 - Pray for International Student Ministry interns Kristen Mayeno and Maddy Duthie, serving at the University of Washington—Seattle, and Gloria Dutcher, working at Portland State University in Oregon, to engage students with the Gospel as classes begin.
31 - As the 2013–2014 academic year begins, please join us in praying that the tens of thousands of InterVarsity students on campuses nationwide will live out their faith, invite their friends to study the Bible, and share the good news of Jesus Christ!
