Thank God for:

• The 83 international students from 14 countries who accepted Christ among International Student Ministries chapters in the past academic year.

Please pray for:

• Eric Chen, full-time staff at the University of Akron in Ohio, as he meets students, builds trust, and helps de­velop a witnessing community on campus.
• New staff in the Red River region as they participate in evangelism training during the new staff training module October 25-27. Pray also for students to accept Christ as staff share the Gospel through conversational evangelism at regional colleges and universities.
• The 500 students participating in The Big Event, the New York/New Jersey region’s downstate fall conference, October 29-31 as they respond to God’s call as leaders, evangelists, prayer warriors, and students of Scripture.
• Students as they return to campuses after serving with InterVarsity’s Global Projects this past summer. Pray that they integrate the experience into their long-term disciple­ship and seek God’s direction as they consider long-term missions work.
• Erin Straughan, Jamie Veeder, and Brandon Truelove as they continue planting and developing witnessing com­munities at community colleges in the Kansas City Metro area.
• The right candidate to respond to God’s calling to join the Central New York InterVarsity team as the area director in Syracuse, Binghamton, Ithaca, and Utica.
