Week of August 7th
- Last year, for the first time, more than one million international students attended U.S. colleges and universities. Again this year, hundreds of thousands of international students are now preparing to travel to the U.S. from all over the globe to pursue their educational goals. Pray for the tour of Madison for new international students at the University of Wisconsin and similar International Student Ministry outreaches on other campuses to connect internationals with Christian students and Christian community volunteers.
- Many InterVarsity staff have been using the summer to develop new ministry partners who will help support their ministry. Pray for staff to make connections with strong supporters, achieve their fundraising goals, and be freed to devote all of their time to campus ministry.
- Students from more than 20 midwestern campuses participated in InterVarsity’s Leadership Institute (IVLI) this summer at Cedar Campus, on the shore of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Pray that God will use each one as an effective campus leader and capable witness when they return to their school.
