Interim Ministry Associates Position Description (abbreviated)
All Interim Ministry Associates are supervised by the Director of Interim Ministry for hiring, training, placement and performance. Once given a campus assignment Associates report to the field staff director. The Director of Interim Ministry will continue to coach the Associate during their assignment. The supervision of others will be part of the campus assignment.
Position Summary:
To advance the purpose of InterVarsity, an Interim Ministry Associate helps provide continuity of ministry and supervision, as needed, by serving in a campus leadership role on a temporary basis.
Major Responsibilities:
Be a maturing disciple of Jesus Christ; provide leadership, supervision and administrative support for an InterVarsity staff team. Raise funds as required, represent InterVarsity among the public, and attend select InterVarsity staff gatherings.
