About the Program
St. Francis of Assisi’s radical life inspired a tectonic shift in the Church 800 years ago, the effects of which are still felt today. On Journey Italy, we walk in the footsteps of young Francis and his friend Clare who gave up lives of nobility to live in poverty with community serving the sick, poor, and needy.
Learning from St. Francis and St. Clare gives us the opportunity to consider where we are at in their faith journey, and what moves we might make to live their lives more authentically and fully in pursuit of Christ.

About the Program
On Journey Japan, we explore Japan’s rich history and culture, follow the story of Christianity in Japan, and face the impacts of World War II. Pilgrims on this journey ask themselves these questions: What does it mean to be a peacemaker in the world today? How does empire impact the practice of my faith? What does surrender look like in my life?
