Week of October 28

InterVarsity Area Director Noemi Vega Quiñones recently wrote in Christianity Today about the necessity of listening to the leading of the Holy Spirit while ministering on campus. Pray for all InterVarsity staff to take the time to listen for that “still small voice” that is described in 1 Kings 19:12.

“I know I need this in my life, I just didn’t know where to start,” said Angela, a student in Wisconsin. Then she discovered InterVarsity. Something similar happened to Bella, a student in Oklahoma. Pray that more students, feeling the need for community to stave off their inner loneliness, will discover InterVarsity and find faith in Jesus our Savior and Friend.

Homecoming football games and events on college campuses across the nation are common during the fall, as alumni are invited back to campus. Pray for Jean Morales, InterVarsity’s new Director of Alumni Relations, as she strategizes ways to help InterVarsity alumni stay engaged with our campus mission.
