I went into Old Dominion knowing virtually no one and just a few weeks in I had people from my floor in my dorm inviting me to something called Small Groups and Large Groups. I told them no because I was Jewish and didn't really believe in God. After doing some soul searching I found God and needed a community. One of the guys I was living with my sophomore year asked me, "Why not come with me to InterVarsity?" I said, "Sure, why not?" And immediately as I stepped into the room I felt the presence of the Lord and the love in the room. I was loved and accepted no matter what and I soon found myself on leadership for Large Group. Since the spring of 2016, I made InterVarsity my family on campus. I loved spending and investing my time into people I shared a campus with even when it was tough and we were down in the valley. I will always hold onto and cherish my relationships with my InterVarsity family. I was sad to leave after graduation, but it's never goodbye, it's just till next time.
