The arc of the Gospel, Creation, Fall, Redemption, & Restoration, each speak to different aspects of our workplace experiences, helping us to recognize how our work can both reflect God's goodness and our own sinfulness and brokenness. The following four outlines will invite you to reflect on a different chapter of the Gospel story and how God is calling you to respond on and off campus.
- Creation Though our experience of work is often marked by diffuclty and pain, God designed work as part of his "very good" world.
- Fall As we contine along the arc of the Gospel, we see that humanity's rebellion against God sows various kinds of brokenness within the domain of work.
- Redemption We now turn our attention to the way in which Jesus' life, death, and resurrection begin to correct the effects of our sin by looking one of the oldest hymns of the early church.
- Restoration Concluding our look at the arc of Scripture, we reflect on the coming of Christ and the establishment of the New Heavens and Earth.
