Thirty former InterVarsity students attended the Labor Day Alumni Reunion for the University of California—Los Angeles held at Campus by the Sea, an InterVarsity training facility on Catalina Island, off the coast of California.
A short time after his father's death, Joe was sitting on the water's edge in front of his parent's home, and as he says, "I gave myself an evangelistic sermon, complete with an altar call. I responded to that altar call, making Jesus my Lord and Savior."
InterVarsity Alumni can never be first-time students again, but as alums, you can capture some of the vitality of the college experience once more. Homecoming is an important way to reconnect with people and times in our life that we are fond of, and Urbana 06 is a perfect place to convene.
