Carrie Jones came to St. Louis from Orlando in the fall of 1995 to attend Washington University and get degrees in architecture and engineering, because she likes to build things. Soon after she arrived, she volunteered to work with InterVarsity's CityLights ministry and learned how to build a community.
Jim Tebbe, InterVarsity vice president of missions and director of Urbana, prays that Christian students and faculty know that God is the Lord of the world and that he calls all people to know him. Through a variety of programs supported by prayer, InterVarsity's Missions Department and Urbana are instrumental in developing this mindset.
