What is God up to in the world? What is God up to in the hearts and lives of GenZ? How might we be a part of God’s kingdom work together with GenZ?
Urbana mission conference has been catalytic in helping young people discern their calling into God’s kingdom work, no matter their occupations. It’s been full of significant sending moments for many of us throughout the years. We want to help equip your local church in connecting with, mentoring and mobilizing the Next Gen, and this webinar can be a first step.
The Church Engagement team is designed to help build bridges From the campus to the church and from the church to the campus and we want to share about some of those bridges while equipping you to walk with young adults in meaningful and trustworthy ways.
Join us as we hear from experts like Mark …. & Andy…. Share significantly how Urbana 25 is designed to help us all pursue and discern the questions above as we navigate the nuances of being kingdom missionaries vocationally, no matter our occupation with great intention intergenerationally. Truly, The Church Needs Gen Z & Gen Z Needs The Church.

"Trusting God"
with New York Times Bestselling IVP Author, "Kathleen Norris"
September 9, 2025 @ 2pm EST
Just maybe our stories are more weaved together within community than we think. So, what might it look like to trust God when those closest to us suffer? How might our friends and family members or even our own lives with mental or physical disabilities draw us closer to Christ or teach us resilience? How do we lean into God’s grace where grace and hope seem allusive in the everyday ordinary of our lives?
Kathleen Norris, a five-time New York Times bestselling author, weaves her family's story with the depth and nuance her fans have come to cherish in her latest book - Rebecca Sue. She explores the resilience of the human spirit, weaving a powerful story of perseverance, hope, and the unexpected ways people find strength during life's toughest moments. Her book is a heartfelt exploration of relationships, resilience, and faith—perfect for anyone drawn to spiritual growth, human connection, or those who belong to or support the disability community.
Join us as we here from Kathleen and explore ways we grow, learn, and lean into how our stories of connectedness can help our faith in Christ and others can blossom as we’re shaped in the constant tension of joy and sorrow in relationships and our everyday lives.

"College Bound - Navigating Some Anxious Steps"
with Joe Thackwell, InterVarsity National Director of High School Transition
July 22, 2025 1pm EST
Are you a parent/guardian, mentor, pastor, friend, wanting to help a young person navigate the anxious complexities of finding community at college? Do you know how they might connect with a campus minister or pastor where they're headed? Can we help you make an introduction? This is the number one recommendation of the InterVarsity's High School Transition team.
We are a new team with InterVarsity, designed to help churches, parents, and students travel the college-bound transition with a little less anxiety and a little more hope. Therefore, we would love for your college-bound students to end up in an InterVarsity chapter, but what we desire more is to see each grad connected to a college ministry before they head to campus, where they can be supported by a safe, loving, and caring community as they navigate college life and faith from a Jesus perspective.
Our research shows that this "extra step" of introduction can flip the script of college students drifting from faith and decrease their anxiety greatly. Join us and our National Director for High School Transition, Joe Thackwell as we discuss the numerous resources available, but more importantly a few simple steps that can help your already college-bound student or soon to be Senior in High School contemplating college for their immediate pos-high school life.
