CAMPUS LEADERSHIP ACTION STEPS

SPROUT

Goal: Campus Point Leader has established weekly personal prayer practices and bi-monthly student engagement. 

Vital Practices: 

  • Prayer practice: Personal Consecration
  • Prayer practice: Prophetic Intercession
  • Intentionally meet: Consistent, Persistent, Gatherer and Trainer
  • PMC identification worksheet: Effectively identify PMC’s

 

SAPLING

Goal: At least 1 weekly gathering of apprentices to develop their leadership and ownership of God’s vision for their campus

Vital Practices: 

  • Use the “Who do you know in your corner” worksheet:
  • Share the vision with students
  • Network map: Who are we connected to?
  • PMC identification worksheet: Effectively identify PMC’s

 

FRUIT

Goal: Leadership of the chapter is sustained and distributed across a network of students and volunteers. The network listens to God together and discerns where to deploy leaders next. 

Vital Practices: 

  • Network map: Where have we not reached yet? 
  • Communal discernment and prayer

TOOLS AND RESOURCES

SPROUT

Prayer practice: Personal Consecration

  • Commit to a day of fasting for the campus and God’s call to the campus with local partners and churches
  • Longing for Revival Chapter 4 

Prayer practice: Prophetic Intercession

  • Prayer walk the campus and ask God what His heart and vision are for the campus. Share with local community or area team what you heard, and invite them to join.

Intentionally meet: Consistent, Persistent, Gatherer and Trainer

  • Spend time in a highly trafficked part of campus doing spiritual surveys and praying for God to reveal student partners to join you. 
  • Quarantine edition: Find students through 2nd degree contacts, engaging in root 4 networking (Churches, faculty, Student activities offices, IG)
