Week of October 21

Would Jesus Eat Fry Bread? (WJEF?) is an annual conference sponsored by InterVarsity Native Ministries and two other groups. WJEF? will be held November 8-10 in Arizona. Pray that God will continue to bless this outreach to Native students and many will be encouraged to attend.

Earlier this year, InterVarsity’s Graduate and Faculty Ministries (GFM) celebrated 30 years of ministry. Praise God for this GFM milestone and thank the Lord that  InterVarsity has been working with grad students for much longer than that, as our story about Dallas Willard illustrates. Pray for Bobby Gross, InterVarsity’s Director of Graduate and Faculty Ministries, that God will guide him and the GFM team to even more fruitful ministry.

Pray that God will provide more InterVarsity Campus Staff Ministers. As we plant chapters on more and more campuses (772 now), we are trusting the Lord to bring  staff who are eager to share the good news of Jesus and serve students and faculty on campus.
