He not only shared a message with the students, but afterwards shared with the readers of his weblog some reasons why churches should support InterVarsity and other ministries on campus.

New Jersey Church Partnership

Located directly across the street from the campus of the College of New Jersey in Ewing, New Jersey, Central Baptist Church is ideally positioned to reach many of the approximately 5,600 students who attend the school. But leaders of the church know that a good location doesn't guarantee an effective student ministry. So they decided to team up with InterVarsity.
