High Expectations

When 1,200 InterVarsity staff and spouses return to St. Louis for a National Staff Conference, January 2-6, 2008, there will be many similarities and some key differences with last year's Urbana 06 Student Missions Convention in St. Louis.

Jesus, Justice & Poverty in San Francisco

One hundred thirty-three college students and 25 InterVarsity staff discovered that their beliefs about Jesus were too small as they shared the gospel with residents of the Tenderloin district of San Francisco during the Jesus, Justice, and Poverty conference.

On Purpose in 2007

ON PURPOSE is the focus of Greek InterVarsity's lineup of student conferences for the 2006-2007 school year. Greek InterVarsity, a ministry to fraternity and sorority students, will hold two conferences during the 2006-2007 school year: February 2-4, 2007 in Indianapolis, IN and February 16-18, 2007 in Charlotte, NC.

Allowing time for students to get away from their regular routine, to experience God in the wonder of his creation, and to know the support of a loving community makes retreats a helpful part of their Christian growth.
