Becomes director for Strategic Ministries

For more than sixty-five years InterVarsity has been proclaiming and demonstrating God's love to students and faculty on college campuses. We establish and build witnessing communities that share God's love by communicating the Gospel in clear, credible, and compelling ways.

A 41-year legacy of student ministry was celebrated as InterVarsity staff and friends marked the official last day of employment for Pete Hammond on August 31, 2007.

More than a hundred adults and children from eighteen states (coast to coast and border to border) and Canada gathered in June at Cedar Campus to praise the Lord in song.
