Sharing Your Faith

Going to church on Sundays was no longer enough for Cade. He wanted to see the hope of Jesus proclaimed in the streets for all people to hear.

Gaming can be a form of ministry. It can teach us to embrace places of discomfort and to love one another in that.

Perhaps you know God wants us to share his love with others, but you’re feeling like you’re just bad at it, that you’ll make a fool of yourself, that others won’t listen, they’ll walk away laughing, and that you’ll fail God. If that’s you, don’t worry. There’s hope.

Since your first awareness of God’s presence in your life, you’ve had a story worth telling.

After my disastrous encounter in the deli with Kyle, I decided to learn everything I could about loving people through faith transitions. As someone deeply committed to the way of Jesus, how I treat other people in their moments of doubt, disillusionment, and disbelief matters.

Throughout my life, I never thought I’d be a missionary, let alone a good one. But as followers of Creator Sets Free (Jesus), called to share his good news to all people, we’re all missionaries in some sense (Matt 28:19–20). And being called to be a missionary on campus has brought a lot of healing in my life.

We need to remind ourselves that we do evangelism in a time of crisis not to fill some “good-Christian quota” but because it’s good for our souls.
