DECEMBER 6-12

December 6 - Praise the Lord for 51 students from InterVarsity’s L.A. Inland area colleges who attended the 2015 Fall Conference on California’s Catalina Island—the highest attendance in several years! Thank God for providing financially. All students who wanted to were able to go, including those who had scholarship needs.
December 7 - Kayla Pollard has a need for more ministry partners. Pray that the Lord would bring new people to come alongside her in financial partnership so she can minister full-time at Reed College in Portland, Oregon.
December 8 - Pray that God would work powerfully among the Greek students at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Lauren Markel, Greek InterVarsity staff on that campus, asks for prayer that she would have wisdom and a spirit of confidence in God’s strength as she serves the campus.
December 9 - Tens of thousands of students—Christians and non-Christians—struggle with the symptoms of anxiety and depression. Pray for non-believers to come to faith in Jesus and that all students would be free from the burden of these difficult issues.
December 10 - Pray that God would bring more InterVarsity staff and volunteers to the University of Chicago, which is currently understaffed. Pray for the success of a Black student Bible study being planted on this campus.
December 11 - Ask the Lord to connect Charlene Brown, InterVarsity staff member at Durham’s North Carolina Central University, with new ministry partners to meet a funding challenge so that she can fully focus on campus work.
December 12 - At an outreach event at Virginia’s Longwood University, a number of students expressed dissatisfaction with their past experiences with religion. Pray that the InterVarsity chapter would provide a place for them to see and experience who Jesus is.
